Can't u come back Mom?

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

Mom, I miss you so very much
On every night & Day;
& not just then, but every moment,
Since you went away.

You were the center of my life
before your soul passed on;
it’s just so hard for me to believe,
that you are really gone.

My wonderful memories, Mom, of you
are the things that will comfort & save me
I look up at you, sweet Mom,
as you look at me from above .

Now, since I lost my way ,
& it's darkness all the way ;
As I feel abandoned & orphaned ,
Can’t you come back?
& show me the way ,

As I woke up scared ,
Come & hold me close to you;
So many things to be shared ,
All I need is you .

Can’t you come back?

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts

No painter's brush, nor poet's pen
In justice to her fame
Has ever reached half high enough
To write a mother's name

Because I feel that in the heavens above
The angels, whispering one to another,
Can find among their burning tears of love,
None so devotional as that of "Mother,"
Therefore, by that dear name I have long called you,
You who are more than mother unto me.

Heartbreaking for this mama to read. I heard once that we all become orphans when our parents die. It seems it is true for our hearts.

My mother whose eyes were strained
By a sadness that stained her eyes
With grey and blue hue

My mother who never blew
Out candles on a birthday cake

My mother who never knew
The thrills of flying in an airplane

My mother who forever threw
Her pearls to swine

My mother who knew
No contentment in living

My who mother never lived
To be even seventy two

My mother who it is true
Stopped living long before she died

My mother from whose mouth flew
Words of disappointment and fury

My mother whose lips
Tasted bitter tears

My mother sat impatiently
In sorrow through her years

My mother who like Kunta Kinte
Was tamed by Diabets

My mother who was tamed
By my father

MOTHER, YOU ARE ONLY MOTHER
Mother, you are only mother,
because of you,
i got thoughts and rituals,
because of you,
i got my face, my existence and my prestige,
mother, you are neither goddess nor god,
mother, you are not away from these,
mother, you are my soul,
you are within me,
mother, you aren`t a materialistic thing,
you are omnipresent earth,
you are a firm foundation,
mother, you are away from words,
mother, you are life

Mother, Oh Mother Dear
One should be so blessed
To have a loving mother,
Always giving her best,
Bonded to each other.

Mother, oh mother dear
You were there everyday,
Always so very sincere,
Teaching me to pray.

Mother, oh mother dear
As laughter filled the air,
You taught me to play,
And to always be fair.

Then came the day
God called your name,
Now in heaven you stay,
Burning your eternal flame.

Mother, oh mother dear
I miss you so much,
As on my cheek I feel a tear,
And I hunger for your touch.

Mother, oh mother dear
You listened to my prayers,
you gave me back my cheer,
And wiped away my tears.

Mother, oh mother dear
You blessed me with Bobby,
He takes away my fear,
And always has heart.

Bobby I'm blessed by your love
That I pray I'm worthy of,
Your my blessing from above,
Mother, oh mother dear.

MOTHER IS GREAT
Mother is creator of life,
mother is hapiness of insight,
mother is stream of the Ganges,
mother is language of love,
mother is the teacher of rituals,
mother is the soul of God,
mother, thou are great

There is a saying that "God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers."
But I wonder that if its true then why he always takes back mothers from many people.
And since he does that all i will say again"I don’t know if God exists, but it would be better for His reputation if He didn’t."

And so our mothers and grandmothers have, more often than not anonymously, handed on the creative spark, the seed of the flower they themselves never hoped to see -- or like a sealed letter they could not plainly read.

Grown don't mean nothing to a mother. A child is a child. They get bigger, older, but grown? What's that suppose to mean? In my heart it don't mean a thing.
