I Love You

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

I learned about love from you,
Watching your caring ways.
I learned about joy from you
In fun-filled yesterdays.

From you I learned forgiving
Of faults both big and small.
I learned what I know about living
From you, as you gave life your all.

The example you set is still with me
I'd never want any other.
I'm thankful for all that you taught me,
And I'm blessed to call you "Mother

Even though i can't see you
I know I am blessed by you
I do miss you
I love you my mom

She won't cry but...

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

Her head hung low,
her heart beat fast.
But when he walked out of the room,
She raised her head high.
Maybe she'll get over him,
Maybe she wont cry.

It's been a long time now,
People say she should move on,
But she just can't get over him.

They talk about the time,
When they shared all that love

But nobody understands,
Why she's still in love.

She falls to the ground,
And try's to get back up,
But the fear keeps pushing her down.
Will she ever escape the memory of his love?

Her wings are torn and tattered,
Her aura slipping low.
But they say one day she will rise again,
As only the Fallen Angel can.

Dedicated to my best pal & her audacity, fortitude & valor. God bless her & my wishes come from the core of my heart.

Still the remedy

Monday, March 2, 2009

You have stolen my being, my identity.
By making me imbibe the wine of love
you have intoxicated me.

With one glance, my free wandering spirit
has been captured by you.

I gave my life to you, my very substance;
you took my tears without glancing back.

You carried the soul from my body
and yet you are still part of that soul;
you inflicted pain, but are still the remedy.

You destroyed the kingdom of my heart
with the sword of coquetry,
but are still its sovereign ruler.

Can't u come back Mom?

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

Mom, I miss you so very much
On every night & Day;
& not just then, but every moment,
Since you went away.

You were the center of my life
before your soul passed on;
it’s just so hard for me to believe,
that you are really gone.

My wonderful memories, Mom, of you
are the things that will comfort & save me
I look up at you, sweet Mom,
as you look at me from above .

Now, since I lost my way ,
& it's darkness all the way ;
As I feel abandoned & orphaned ,
Can’t you come back?
& show me the way ,

As I woke up scared ,
Come & hold me close to you;
So many things to be shared ,
All I need is you .

Can’t you come back?

Strings in the Earth and Air
Strings in the earth and airMake music sweet;Strings by the river whereThe willows meet. There's music along the riverFor Love wanders there,Pale flowers on his mantle,Dark leaves on his hair. All softly playing,With head to the music bent,And fingers strayingUpon an instrument.

The Little Boy Found

The Little Boy Found
The little boy lost in the lonely fen,Led by the wand'ring light,Began to cry; but God, ever nigh,Appear'd like his father in white.
He kissed the child & by the hand ledAnd to his mother brought,Who in sorrow pale, thro' the lonely dale,Her little boy weeping sought.

My greatest Need is You
~
Your hope in my heart is the rarest treasure Your Name on my tongue is the sweetest word My choicest hours Are the hours I spend with You --O Allah, I can't live in this world Without remembering You--How can I endure the next world Without seeing Your face?I am a stranger in Your country And lonely among Your worshippers:This is the substance of my complaint.

Pariah

enoughto truly consecrate the hour.I am much too small in this world, yet not small enoughto be to you just object and thing, dark and smart.I want my free will and want it accompanying the path which leads to action;and want during times that beg questions, where something is up, to be among those in the know, or else be alone.
I want to mirror your image to its fullest perfection, never be blind or too oldto uphold your weighty wavering reflection. I want to unfold.Nowhere I wish to stay crooked, bent; for there I would be dishonest, untrue. I want my conscience to be true before you;want to describe myself like a picture I observed for a long time, one close up, like a new word I learned and embraced, like the everday jug, like my mother's face, like a ship that carried me along through the deadliest storm.
